About your host
After living overseas for many years Sue Webster and her partner Mark returned to New Zealand and spent several years living in the Waitakere ranges. After feeling the urge to leave Auckland in search of peace and quiet they discovered Taiharuru and purchased a property there.
They spent four years going backwards and forwards between Auckland and Taiharuru before moving here permanently in September 2018 and have not looked back. When the opportunity came up to buy another property just down the hill from their own, they grabbed it, with a view to setting up a holiday retreat so that others could also enjoy this piece of paradise.
Sue worked in media for many years whilst overseas and for the University of Auckland in New Zealand. She now enjoys spending time with her three horses, working on their lifestyle block with Mark and getting involved with many social activities in the awesome local community.
